I want Kylo Ren!Redemption styles. But what I really care about is his costume change. It's time to ditch the Villainous Garb where Evil Wears Black. Maybe trade it in for some Blue is Heroic or Gold and White are Divine -- or better Supernatural/Powerful is Purple? The point is, Ben thinks looking evil = looking like Darth Vader. Being a good guy has options.

And he doesn't have to sacrifice style for that -- I'm thinking Padme's everything (especially her Queen gowns, her senatorial garb), Leia's white dresses, more elegant or luxurious looking versions of Jedi robes.... Ben's a peacock. A dandy. Ben inherited his grandmother's fashion sense, and by god, he's going to use it.

The entire Resistance will never be the same. ...also where the hell did he even GET this couture wardrobe??

This has been my headcanon for a while. I haven't found a fic or been able to write one for it, though.

During their telepathic battle in the interrogation scene, Kylo and Rey realize something very personal that they have in common: they're both what could be described as asexual (maybe a different term in SW universe?). They recognize something in each other that clicks. However, at the same time, they also feel something jarringly different: Rey is more or less aromantic and okay with it, and Kylo is biromantic and struggling with it.

(*) I would love gen, but any pairings besides Rey/Kylo are welcome. It doesn't even have to be Rey and Kylo interacting with each other: maybe one is thinking, or one is talking with someone else, etc.

+ Kylo sees Rey's situation as ideal for a Force user (on either side) and is kind of jealous of her (not crazy/obsessed/angry jealous, please)
++ Rey doesn't see what the big deal is, in either romantic case
+++ They eventually find partners who are right for them (Rey is aromantic *at that point* - maybe weeks/months/years later she is with someone who she feels that type of love for)
++++ They're confident about their asexuality, but learning what they learn from each other makes them think about things they haven't really thought about before

- Melodrama, angst, inner turmoil (would rather see "huh, wasn't expecting that" or "oh no, why is he/she like me?" when they know)

I'm actually working on a fic which could very easily come after all this, where Finn collects and hoards all the Poe merchandise he can find. I was wondering if OP would like linking when finished?

lol I can picture the Sith ghost trying to lure Finn with dark side cookies and using ridiculous schemes that all backfire. Also Finn is so light side it rubs off on the ghost, like it remembers how to smile normally

I read a fic where Snap spends time with Finn while Poe's away and their dynamic was really sweet, so:

Snap's one of Poe's best friends, used to Poe getting all the attention since, well, he's gorgeous, charming, an ace pilot, etc. And Finn spends all his time with Poe, so everybody assumes they're together.

But then Finn starts kinda hanging around Snap more, admits sheepishly that nobody with Snap's body type was around on the Finalizer (which, yeah, Snap gets, he's never seen a fat Stormtrooper and the officers were probably all tight asses who didn't like people looking different if they could help it)

And Snap's used to getting comments on his weight (he's a damn good pilot and has the greatest friends on base, that's all that matters) but Finn's interest is less "are you sure you fly for the Resistance, can you even fit in the cockpit" and more "I think I want to touch you a lot but don't know how to say it without sounding weird"

And that can't be right, no way this good-looking, sweet as hell, uber competent newbie is making moon eyes at HIM when he's around Poe freaking Dameron everyday

tl;dr Finn likes Snap, follows him around more. Snap has no idea what to do with this (Finn is ATTRACTIVE okay, Snap's not blind), and Poe is probably cheering Finn on and laughing at Snap from the sidelines.

Left Coast Hipster AU. Hux and the First Order run a national brewery that's trying to drive out the Resistance microbrews. Luke got so interested in hops he moved right over to the legalize weed movement. Leia is a venerable brewmaster at one of the companies the First Order had put out of business, working to rebuild and rebrand. Han is a former commercial pilot, her on-again, off-again partner who is always out of town whenever things get emotionally difficult. Ben is their son, who grew up working in the brewery, hated it, and immediately got a high-ranking office job in the First Order brewery.

Poe is the best damn bike messenger in the city. Finn is a delivery driver for the national brewery who changes his tune approximately 0.001 seconds after seeing the aforementioned bike messenger's calf muscles. The two of them decide to get into artisanal cider brewing with a farm-to-bottle single-origin approach.

Rey is stuck running a food truck with Unkar Plutt, selling kimchi waffle grilled cheese sandwiches but barely able to pay back her student loans with how little he pays her. BB-8 is Poe's pet rabbit.

Kylo and Phasma double penetrate Hux and he's a beautiful subby mess!

I'm going to go ahead and be shameless here, because yes. This is a thing I love, but I don't think it quite matches what you want, so I won't put filled or anything. Hopefully someone will do something more fluffy and less hurt/comfort (and I'd maybe love to see Leia/Phasma; someone help me I have too many ships.)

I might tackle this, as it would give me an opportunity to play with some ideas I've been having about vampires and werewolves in space.

Phasma has feelings for her commanding officer. Her affections are not returned. Hux doesn't DISLIKE her, he just...doesn't feel that way about her.

Maybe Hux feels bad, maybe he doesn't. Would prefer if they don't get together at the end, though.
