Hux has the utmost faith in the trooper conditioning process. But there's one outstanding cadet with great promise and a "disturbing amount of empathy". Hux likes 87's quick mind and strong reflex responsiveness in training simulations. He offers FN-2187 a chance to rise in rank and perhaps even earn himself a real name.

All he must do is win the trust of the resistance and feed Hux information to stay a step ahead of Kylo Ren in Snoke's favor.

That works for me, OP! I enjoy force-sensitive!Finn but I wanted to make sure that's what you wanted.

Legit tears here as well! Leia's fear as she lay in Poe's arms just broke me. But this is BEAUTIFUL and I was RIGHT there in the scene as I read it, and you are an excellent writer. Thank you for sharing!

Some kind of AU scenario in which Leia rules as queen, and, after Han's death, finds herself under political pressure to take a new consort, with every system in the galaxy sending their best "nobility but not in the direct line of succession" suitors to court her.

She resents the pressure and the idea that she even needs a consort, but if she has to pick, it better be someone who can keep up with her, and being easy on the eyes wouldn't hurt--and a young suitor from the Yavin system seems to fit the bill.

Adam Driver's crooked smile is really cute. Yes.

Somehow, Rey and Finn travel back in time to the clone wars (preferably during the cartoon, not the movie) and they're trying to figure out a way to get back without fucking up the time line.

+ For interactions between them and Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi Wan, and Padmè
++++ for Finn being absolutely horrified by some of the Republic's practices, like the clones and the way that Jedi younglings are taken from their families. (It's like what the first order did to me, Rey)

I love this. Poe's reluctant heroism while actually showing a great deal of care, his flying-by-the-seat-of-his-pants negotiation technique, his matter-of-fact dry, way of speaking are all so charming; and Ben's huffiness followed by tentative acceptance is delightful.

Sometimes, you know. Sex just - it's awkward. Bodies make weird noises and people fall off beds (especially single bunks not designed to hold three people!) and elbows end up in faces and, "Ow, Poe, I don't think my arm can bend that way."

But if you can't laugh with the people you're having sex with while you're having sex with them? Yeah, it's all a bonding experience.
