Kylo, Han, Han is THAT Dad.

The real reason Kylo hates Han isn't because he was an awful Dad.

It's because his Dad was literally the most embarrassing Dad ever. Think Dad jokes, think Dad dancing, think "birds and the bees" talk. Think Jim's Dad from American Pie.

Han tries to take an interest in all his sons favourite things, refers to his awful taste in music as "totes rad bra!" and other completely ridiculous crap.

Because you cannot look at Han and tell me he wouldn't be the most embarrassing Dad ever.

Omg ABSOLUTELY this! Because Han was always seen as the suave, handsome scoundrel, he assumes he'll have no problems hanging out with his sons generation, and tries so hard to be the Cool Dad, trying and failing to pull off current trends ("look, son! I picked up a pair of those hot new shoes that one celebrity wears!" "Omg dad take them off, you're ruining everything")
