Gen, Rey and the old woman on Jakku

I can't remember if she was the only other human woman in the town, but what if she was the one who taught Rey how to scavenge? Or how to build a shelter? Or taught her how periods work and how to manage them in the desert? Or helped her out that one time she tried to have sex with an alien and it didn't go to plan?

Anything featuring Rey growing up and having at least one human as a parent-like figure in her life.
