Poe couldn’t get his brain to shut up.

It was very irritating.

Pava’s words, Finn’s lips, Rey’s breasts, the way they looked when he left them—

Not even working on his X-Wing (which was, admittedly, already in perfect condition) helped distract him. He couldn’t return to his room; either Finn and Rey would still be there, or they’d be gone. Either way it would be wrong.

Thankfully, had a back-up plan.

Ka’La, a Loranian med tech, was a big fan of Poe’s. Xe was always up for it, and they were the loudest being Poe had ever been with. And not just with the normal sounds that accompanied good sex—xe delivered a running commentary, and Poe was hoping it would drive the other thoughts right out of his head.

“You don’t taste good today,” Ka’La said, when xe pulled Poe into their quarters. Loranians were touch-empaths, but usually they didn’t get much of a read from humans. They were also uncomfortably blunt. “Why is your heart sad?”

Poe moved out of xe’s range long enough to get his emotions under control. “I don’t want to talk about it. I want to forget about it.” He made his next statement into a challenge. “Do you think you’re up to it? Or should I find someone else to fuck me until I forget my own name? The general’s new aide looks like she’d be a beast in the bedroom—”

Ka’La growled and slammed Poe against the wall. Poe let the surprise and pain wash over him, let Ka’La taste that instead of sadness. Ka’La liked pain almost as much as xe liked pleasure, and Poe liked giving others what they wanted.

When they finally made it to the bed, Ka’La’s narration was in full swing—how hot Poe was, how tight, how sexy, he took it so good, just like that, again, cry for me—

Anyone walking past in the hallway would catch an earful.

Let them.

It wasn’t exhibitionism: it was advertising.

They fucked for what felt like hours: Ka’La taking and Poe surrendering, his orgasms more incidental than intentional. By the time Ka’La was sated, physically and emotionally, Poe was drenched in sweat, his thighs trembling, his cock over-sensitive and soft.

“I have been greatly cheered by our intercourse,” Ka’La said solemnly, while Poe dragged his clothes back on.

“You rocked my world.”

“Poe?”

“Yes?”

Ka’La reached out, then hesitated and drew back. “You have brought me much joy, Poe Dameron. It does not seem right that you keep so little for yourself.”

Poe grabbed his boots and socks and finished getting dressed in the hallway.
