Ok so: Domhnall Gleeson, the guy who plays Hux, also played Bill Weasley in the Harry Potter films. You see where I'm going with this, friends...

So after grabbing trashcompacted!Phasma, and defeated!Kylo, a handful of Troopers, and hopping on the nearest ship, Hux & co. have to make a quick pit stop in their escape to resupply/rest/find better transport, etc. And it so happens that the most convenient planet is Hux's home world, where, much to his dismay, there's no keeping his giant, crazy, embarrassing loving, red-haired family from meeting his First Order friends. He really does love them but they're soooooo embarrassing some times

++ Papa Hux has always been fascinated by Sith culture and wants to show Kylo his handmade imitation lightsabre collection, and by the way, can Kylo explain how a holocron works?
+++ Momma Hux frets & lectures Mrs. Weasley style ("I told you nothing good would come of that Star Blaster Whatzit-thing, and you've gone and blown it up. Look at your poor friend here, he's nearly been cut in half!")

(OP) You know Kylo's absolutely like 'I have no parents' when Mrs. Hux asks, so she immediately adopts him.
