I have been reading up on the mythology and taking into consideration the latest Rebels finale, and I feel like Rey will end up becoming a sort-of Gray Jedi.

meanings. First, it was used by Jedi and Sith to describe Force-users who walked the line between the light and dark sides of the Force without surrendering to the dark side, and second, it described Jedi who distanced themselves from the Jedi High Council and operated outside the strictures of the Jedi Code. However, those who were considered to be true Gray Jedi met both qualifications and did not belong to any particular Force tradition.
During her fight with Kylo it was obvious Rey wasn't shy to use her hate and anger to fuel her fighting style. While I don't agree with the theories saying this means Rey will go Dark Side or be tempted by the Dark Side. I do feel like she will be the prefect candidate to find a balance between the Dark and Light sides of the force.
Luke didn't exactly follow the Jedi code (forming bonds with his friends), so it wouldn't be a stretch for me to imagine them pursuing something different. he entire point of the series has been about bringing back balance. The Jedi order was far from perfect, so I don't beliefs following their ideals will bring back balance. And neither would following the Sith (or whatever Snoke is). So it makes sense that the answer will be a compromise between both.
Gray Jedi, Rey (possible redeemed Kylo if you want to go there).
