oh, christ, back in like 2012 there was this amazing RoseMary fic where they saw each other right as the doors on a subway closed...except one of them was on the train and the other was still on the platform, complete strangers. the rest of the story was about all these other odd coincedences they kept having that put them together until finally one was like "do you to hamg out sometime on purpose?" beautifully written, too. in the glory days of homestuck it had some impressively well-done AUs (and some horribly bad, too)

for tfa, though? id LOVE to read a Roaring 20's/Prohibition Era/Bootleggers AU. sign me tf up.
