Whoever is running it is going a bit overboard with the rules imo.
The second is that if you read the rules, your story can contain abusive material, it just needs to be acknowledged for what it is, come with a warning and not be romanticized (which means that if there is abuse between two people in a romantic relationship, it needs to be shown as a negative thing inside that relationship, not a display of strength/passion/etc).
So, essentially, it comes down to context. Are you writing [Rey/Kylo; Poe/Kylo, etc] into a relationship immediately after the interrogation scene? Definitely go over that with me because right off the bat it raises some flags.
I appreciate saying writers need to put warnings on their fics, but......idk, as much as I'm against people romanticizing abuse, this sounds like the mod trying to control what people write because it's not what they'd like to see.
