Due to shenanigans, Hux and Kylo have to share a room. Mostly it's not the worst -- it's not the first time Hux has had to hot bunk -- but Kylo is clingy and excessively warm and heavy, rolling on top of him when Hux tries to squirm away. Hux resigns himself to a thin, restless sleep.

Then Kylo starts humping him.

++++ Kylo mumbles filth and nonsense and Hux ends up getting humiliatingly hard despite himself

After Starkiller is destroyed, morale on board the Finalizer is through the floor. A lot of troopers died in the explosion, and many more who managed to escape were wounded or injured. If ever there was a time that people were going to start defecting, this is it.

Cue Hux starting to make regular visits to the medical wing (it's amazing how much more time he has when Kylo is tucked away unconscious in a bacta tank), helping the medical staff and talking to the troopers, and reminding them that the Order cares about them and respects the sacrifices they've made.

It's all very calculated, but it works.

The trio are American confidence players at the turn of the (last) century. They go from backwater town to backwater town, pulling small time games, and occasionally making a splash in a big city like Cincinnati, San Francisco, or Toronto.

They never stay in one place long enough to put down roots and get to know anyone and that's the way they like it. That way no one starts to look at them funny. Wonder why a young lady seems to be living with two men and none of them married or related. This way, people only start to mutter about running them out of town when THEY'RE ready to be run out of town.

(If it's longer and/or plotty, maybe the First Order is the organized crime ring in a big city or the corrupt government in a rural town. Leia is the assumed leader of the town's more benign criminal activity - the clean speakeasies and clubs, goons that actually protect the businesses that pay them, etc etc.)

Through some terrible mishap, Kylo is now the property of a female Hutt who is particularly smitten with her new human slave. Crazy thing is, Kylo actually likes the attention, the metal swimwear and even the sex. Someone comes to his rescue, but he doesn't want to leave!

Hux is half scourge-of-the-universe creature/species on his mother's side, so calling him a monster is accurate. However, his atrocious destruction of the Hosnian System is small/insignificant compared to what the rest of his maternal family has been doing. As his captors in the Resistance/NR find out after meeting Lady Hux (who is neither female nor human) wearing a smile like the rest of the universe is on the butt end of a joke.

Bonuses:

+ Hux is the tame one/white sheep (taking more after his father, to Hux Sr.'s relief) while his family sows dissent/chaos/destruction
+ fellow prisoner!Kylo KNOWS and is uneasy/scared of Hux's mother/relatives (Hux may have weaponized paperwork/coordination, but his family invented psychological warfare and convert zealotry horrors).
+ some of the relatives are so dramatic/deranged/bloodthirsty they make Kylo look NORMAL
+++ they ADORE Kylo and frequently pester Hux to have his babies already
+ 'Lady' Hux visiting not to beg for Hux's life, but to congratulate their baby's very impressive/ambitious 'first mass genocide'.
+ one of Hux's cousin/'aunts' starts a mass riot/crashes a fleet/unleashes a pandemic of nasty to allow them to escape---Hux is FURIOUS (at the mess)

The Resistance get lucky and capture engineering genius and only omega-general Hux, who is also the face of FO propaganda (omegas win the hearts of the masses). In interrogation, it is discovered too late that Ben is Hux's compatible alpha as the two undergo their mating cycle. For Ben, it was a stroke of bad luck but he has hope (Finn and Poe got together after all). For Hux, his alpha being the enemy is a death sentence.

Bonuses:

+ Hux's loyalties to the FO at odds with his alpha's wishes/beliefs which makes him a BAD omega, and it puts his body in distress ++ he gets sick enough he almost endangers his unborn child
++ Ben being forced to verbally abuse/bad-talk Hux to get him to cooperate +++ and getting guilty boners
+ punishing Hux for (not talking about) Starkiller (which was found out only after the Hosnian System went dark/the Speech) until the omega is a shameful quivering sorry mess +++ and Ben's hollow apologies after
+++ FO using Hux's capture to their advantage (you know they will): "Citizens of the First Order, the despicable Resistance has taken and sullied one of our beloved and most loyal..." to make the push to target Hosnian Prime---basically, you destroy our symbol and we destroy yours...

What it says on the tin. Just give me uptight, creamy-skinned Hux melting under Phasma's big, gentle ministrations.

Phasma captures Pava on a remote mission, and realizes that she has a soft spot for rebellious, spunky women. She leaves Pava in a cell awaiting interrogation, but she leaves the door unlocked...

Later, the Resistance captures Phasma. Pava has to understand.

Poe and Finn are BFFs who do everything together EXCEPT romance.

Then one of them starts to date another person and the other has REALIZATIONS.

Hux people's were very prideful, warrior-like people who took life debts very seriously. The environment they lived on was a harsh everyone for themselves type of deal so someone going out of their way to save yo, even risking their own lives, was kind of a big deal. So when Hux gets captured by space pirates/angry natives and Finn knowingly or accidentally end up saving his life, Hux begrudgingly takes it as him now owning the ex-stormtrooper a life debt.

How he decides to pay it is up to you. Maybe he saves Finn when he is captured, maybe he decides he now has o stalk, I mean follow, Finn around until an opportunity to return the act rises, maybe he falls in love with Finn. MAYBE THEY HAVE TO GET MARRIED NOW AND THE HUX FAMILY SHOWS UP, I don't know. Just give give me prideful Hux going through with the tradition even when he wants to strangle the other guy sometimes.

People keep giving Finn delicious food to try, half to hear the crazy porn noises Finn makes when he eats them and half to watch Poe get really uncomfortably turned on by it.

nothing quite like a visit home, is there? seeing family, friends, bringing your boyfriend along to meet your dad. amazingly (for once) everything has gone swimmingly for poe: kes and finn get along like two ducks in a pond, everyone's happy, and he's just about to congratulate himself on how well everything turned out when it comes time to go to bed. he and finn are staying overnight in poe's old room, which would be fine...
except it's right next to his parents' room, and he promised finn that they'd mess around tonight (it's their first off-day in forever) and now poe is determined to Make This Work without traumatizing either his boyfriend or his dad before the night's over. he's got this.

I get the feeling sex with a Hutt would be along the lines of "pick a fold and fuck it", considering they're physically hermaphrodites. Unless they reproduce the way the slugs they resemble do, in which case "erotic stabbing with lawn darts" would be more accurate...

Finn's general personality is friendly, helpful, kind, and open with his emotions, but in certain situations, everyone is reminded that he's been raised as a soldier since before he could walk. So I think it would be great if he reminded the Resistance every once in a while about just how dangerous he can be, and that they should use him as an asset.

So maybe a mission gets stranded or in trouble and Finn is there and takes charge and gets them out while devastating their enemy. Or maybe they're undercover and people in his group get into a fight, but because they can't make too big a splash about it and blow their cover, Finn takes out the opponents swift and brutal and damn near silent.

Basically I am kind of missing fics where the dichotomy of how many different hats Finn has the potential to wear are touched on.

After surviving in the First Order, Finn's seen the WORST of the darkside and has made it through some really horrible, dehumanizing situations. So when people in the Resistance who don't trust him because of his past try to haze or be cruel to him, he just DOESN'T REALLY NOTICE, or thinks thy're just playing, because dude, it's not bad. He's seen real bad. The names some of the people at the Resistance call him? Would've been fond nicknames in the First Order. The hazing, where the cafeteria people won't give him as much food as everyone else? He's survived on half as many rations for most of his life. People trying to punch him/attack him in the halls? Pfft, he's been in a place where superior officers would shoot someone dead for looking at them wrong.

Basically, people try to bully/be cruel to Finn, and most of the time, Finn doesn't even notice, because the norm for him is WORSE.

(If he wins them over with his endless optimism and his inability to be cruel back to them over time, all the better.)

Rey keeps determinedly setting Finn up with guys, and she is awful at it. Disaster date after disaster date is driving Finn up the wall. He's got other shit to do. He's starting a new job, moving into a new apartment, and TRYING TO PAY HIS COLLEGE DEBT. He doesn't have time to explain to Rey why the guys she finds at the garage she works at are THE WORST. He decides he needs a fake boyfriend to get her off his back. There's a guy at his work that seems cool and helpful. That should work.

You know those ridiculous overdramatic cooking shows with crazy constraints like Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen, Iron Chef (or make up your own)? They're all my girlfriend watches and now I want an AU.

Who are the contestants? Who are the judges? Who's not there to make friends, and who's there to have fun and show the judges what they can do? Who has an adorable sob story for the prize money? Who really knows how to cook and who fucks up grilled cheese?
