Kylo goes back to the Light. It’s made clear that when everything’s over, it’s best if he fucks off. Phasma didn’t return after Starkiller; the safer option was to be ‘dead’. Hux is one of the few survivors of the Finalizer’s destruction. Snoke’s dead, the FO is so much dust in the wind, and they’re left with nothing to show for it at the end of everything.

By a series of coincidences they find each other. They’re still very much themselves, and not particularly sorry for the things they’ve done, but there’s something to be said for shared loss. They end up on board with Kylo and his shitty roadtrip of destiny.
