OMG but picture Kylo's face, it would be like Christmas. Not because he wants a bantha (of course he doesn't want a bantha), but because Hux took sleeping pills and ordered a bantha and that is going to be funny until the heat-death of the universe, possibly longer.

And poor Mitaka explaining that yes, he did process that purchase order, and no, he didn't question it, because he doesn't make a habit of questioning orders from his General, sir.

Phasma gives absolutely no indication in her voice or carriage that indicates that she finds anything remotely humorous about the situation. The bantha arrived festooned with a very large red bow, though, and there is a extremely short list of persons on board with the shiny chrome cojones to add such insult to injury.

Ahaha, of course Hux's overture of a ~fancy dinner at the finest restaurant in the tri-system area is met with equal scorn.

The showers at D'qar were communal. Finn never had a shower to himself, and Rey might just never have had a shower. One of the perks of the new Officer's bunk at the new base that Poe is going to be sharing with Finn (and Rey, while she's visiting) is the private fresher.

Which is maybe a concept he should have mentioned to these two before they invited themselves to squish in alongside him.

"Leia doesn't deserve this" is basically my fic moto. I'm planning on delving more into her feelings in the next parts, but yeah, guilt is the baseline.

Next part should be up super soon!

Lurking around the ship like the shadow beast he is, Kylo overhears the some of the crew members referring to Hux by a fairly derogatory/sexual nickname - think Margaret 'Hotlips' Houlihan from M*A*S*H. They'd never use it to his face, as they know better than to be openly disrespectful, but it's a pretty widespread thing.

Kylo's reaction to finding out about this is down to you.

Finn is royalty (or just from an obscenely rich inter-planetary business family, perhaps). When his private ship crashes on Jakku he's pulled from the wreckage by a scavenger girl named Rey, who thinks he might just be the most gorgeous thing she's ever scavenged. He tells her she'll be rewarded handsomely if she protects him and guides him home; she'd rather just strip his ship for parts and leave him at Niima Outpost but his adorable pout gets the better of her. What starts off as a rotten day for both of them turns into emotional bonding over their adventure and then ~love~. But Rey assumes Finn will ditch her the second he gets home...

+bonus if Finn's ship was sabotaged by some plot to steal his throne and/or family wealth and Rey is the first one to figure it out

It turns out Finn's older brother/s and sister/s were also taken by the First Order (maybe while they were old enough to remember each other) became Stormtroopers, and rose through the ranks as captains and officers. After Finn's escape they learned he was their brother and were inspired to flee as well. They touch base with the Resistance during their journey to offer information in exchange for help setting up new lives far away from the FO. They finally get to meet Finn, their long-lost little brother and inspiration.

Before they leave, they are determined to make VERY sure that Finn's partners are loyal and will do everything they can to protect him. Top-brass Stormtroopers do NOT fuck around when they give the shovel talk.

Everything else is the same as canon, except Poe is a werewolf (the transforms-whenever-he-likes kind).

Finn learns this means big, sloppy wolf kisses whenever he gets back to their room, and warm, furry cuddles on missions to cold planets, and lots of howling whenever Poe gets excited. Including during sex.

Of course he thinks all of this is adorable.

Rey has been hiding a secret from Finn and the resistance; she was actually killed trying to escape after Kylo Ren's interrogation, and what Finn and Han found on Starkiller Base was just her ghost. Having awakened as a powerful Force user, she's determined to cling to the living world, most especially the boy she already adores.

Finn wants more than anything for her to stay but he knows it's his duty to help her resolve her unfinished business and move on.

Possible sad bonus: her unfinished business turns out to be awakening the Force in Finn, and he's left with his new-found destiny but without Rey's spirit.

are han and leia still together in this?

I'm not even an active shipper of this but it's such a great, heartbreaking prompt :(((

Oops, Force shenanigans happened and we woke up in the wrong body. Luke/Snoke/this article on space google says it will probably wear off in a week, tops.

Kylo + Hux - right before the Big Important Conference of all of the Generals. They decide to bluff through it. Kylo has to sit through the meeting that never ends and behave himself on pain of getting his body back minus a few key pieces. Hux is throwing tantrums with such gusto that the command crew think that something must be terribly wrong.

Finn + Poe - Finn wakes up in an X-wing in flight, and as long as he doesn't think about it Poe can apparenty fly it perfectly from muscle memory. Finn is shredded in a way that Poe's never been- he kind of wants to take all the brakes off and just see what this body can do.

And of course, all of them want to spend some quality time masturbating furiously in their new bodies, because of course they do (some might have ethical concerns about whether that would be a grave breach of privacy, others are Kylo Ren, etc.).

This is the stuff!

THIS IS THE BEST! I love that this fic is on the Outer Rim, because we don't get to see much of it.
'Leia deserves better' should be in a T-shirt.
My favorite parts:
Kylo being a little shit at the end, dropping that bomb.
Hux being feral and political.
Senators that are biting more that they can eat.
Poe. All Poe. He must be so worried for Leia.
