I don't know these books, but dam, you made me interested.
Badass assassin in the night, Hux being in character, reference to the othe fandom and TFA, I love it.
Also, just the mental image of the FO freaking the fuck out because OUR FLAGSHIP WAS INFILTRATED WHAT THE FUCK.
Kylo would feel professionally attacked because he didn't notice.

You say weird gifts, I think of the Phelps brothers, who played Fred & George Weasley, receiving a package in the mail containing a fan's bra, with two potatoes in the cups. True story, also the weirdest thing I think I've ever heard, as gifts go. I just... want Kylo Ren to receive someone's potato-filled bra.

Oh my god, Admiral Ackbar and Kes Dameron and Shara Bey pulling him out of his head constantly, quiet hugs and comforting hands on shoulders, smiles and jokes, Poe jostling his shoulder when he stars into space, not sure why they're all taking care of him, but aware that people take care of Ben, and determined to help. THIS IS AMAZING!
