Due to handwavey plot elements, Poe and Hux are trapped together on some half derelict slaver/pirate/whatever ship. Poe doesn't recognize Hux since he has only ever heard of him through Finn's account, and Hux is not wearing his service jacket, and is scruffy as heck. Hux does not recognize Poe offhand, as he was not actually present for the interrogation and had other things taking up his time immediately after. Maybe they use false names, so their captors don't exactly who they have.

They end up working together to escape. Poe finds Hux's mean sense of humor kinda funny, actually, and Finn's proof enough FO personnel can be turned, right? An officer could have useful intel. And because that mouth was definitely made to suck and it'd be a shame to waste it on FO drones.

Hux is reluctantly charmed by Poe's enthusiasm, sarcasm, and relentless flirting. The FO could always use new pilots (ALWAYS), and Hux is sure he could bring Poe to heel with enough... persuasion. He seems agreeable enough, if a little raw. And he's hot as fuck, so. Bonus.

Then their respective allies come to rescue them and their identities are revealed. Oops.

So they've figured how this whole sex thing goes and they couldn't be happier, Poe wingmans for both of them and makes sure they have all the protection they need to have some good safe clean fun. Finn has also figured out that he like's to make Rey come, and come a lot, Rey loves it too.
Unfortunately Stormtrooper stamina doesn't count for tongues and fingers, so Finn needs to get creative.

Cue wingman Poe sliding them a tasteful bouquet of vibrators and sex toys.

Imagine this happens just before his shift is due to start. So Hux ends up fucked out and plugged up, distended belly sloshing about and straining against the front of his tunic, as he awkwardly moves about the bridge trying not to make his state obvious. And he spends his shift low-key aroused at the idea of members of the crew knowing what his belly means and how much of a slut he is for letting it happen. Then he goes back for more.

AU where Kylo Ren's gone missing and the First Order needs someone to stand in for him to maintain the illusion of being in control after the destruction of Starkiller. Luckily they have a radar tech who looks suspiciously like their missing Knight of Ren. So after giving hapless Matt a new dye job and a dramatic emo wardrobe makeover, it's almost like Kylo never left.

Meanwhile, Matt just wants to take his muffin break.

The First Order takes Poe again and this is where the Resistance learns that Finn will BURN THE WORLD to get him back.

I would love if Finn has put together all the discipline and highly effective tactics he learned a stormtrooper with all the wily, guerrilla-style MacGuyver-ing of resources he's had to get accustomed to now, working for the under-manned, under-funded Resistance.

(Basically make him the Michael Westen of the Star Wars universe, please.)

In the middle of an intense argument, Kylo says something so horrible that Hux starts crying. Kylo has been peeking into Hux's mind for ages now trying to find dirt on him so as to gain the upper hand in a situation such as this. Without meaning to, he brings up a terrible memory from Hux's past (make it as angsty as you want) that he never intended to use as leverage. Kylo is stunned doesn't know what to do when Hux hurries back to his quarters mid-shift leaving Kylo horrified and guilty.

Bonus points for awkward Kylo trying his best to make it up to him.

This is practically a Kylux trope, a cosmic inevitability, I love it. Han + Millennium Falcon + Kylux = Han catching them in flagrante

So the Resistance uses Poe and Finn's story as propaganda to lure Stormtroopers away from the First Order. They do this by basically writing somewhat embellished, very romanticized (fanficcy) pamphlet novellas about Finn and Poe's epic love story and spread it around the universe.

And it works. Stormtroopers start defecting thinking "Hey, that could be me!" and wanting a hot Resistance pilot to fall into their arms too, because that's what the Resistance is talking about, right? A good looking rebel hottie for all? (Okay, they don't ALL get a hot pilot in the end, but some of them DO, and even better than that? In the Resistance, EVERYONE is allowed to eat ice cream, which is just a good a reason to defect, really.)

White Power Phasma was raised by an abusive neo-Nazi. Although she's moved out of her dad's place and is staying at the Huxes' house, she's having a hard time letting go of the ideologies she was raised with. At least she's dating Rey, who's a badass from the trailer park with a heart of gold. Phasma's dad would shit himself.

Fenwick is pretty sure he's the only black kid at his new school. He's also sure that his only chance to survive another year until he gets into Harvard is to go along with the idea that he's a badass hoodrat from the ghetto, even though he's as upper middle class as you can get. Also, the name "Fenwick" has got to go.

When Rey started dating Phasma, she just knew that she was tired of having to fend for herself, and that she wanted someone who could protect her a little. When she starts hanging out with Finn, it's not because she buys the badass front he has going on. It's because he looks lonesome sitting there in his hoodie, writing poetry.

Phasma isn't too happy about this.
