AU where the First Order decided not to go quite so agressive quite so early. Instead they decided to play the long game, with a pretense of diplomacy towards the New Republic. It is all just stalling until they can attack en masse, of course, but only Senator Organa believes it.
Anyway, Hux is sent to talk to the Senate, because everything is fine, the First Order intends to be peaceful, totally. While there, he meets jerkish, rude, emotional Ben Solo who is somehow still a Jedi.

He invites Ben Solo to dinner, because diplomacy, and meeting Force users, and reasons. Ben then offers him a cigar case, because manners and thank you gifts and reasons.
So Hux invites him to Space-theatre, and Ben lets him come along during his walks, and no, no, Phasma/Mom, they are not dating. The First Order/New Republic is the enemy, they are just... biding their time and... intel.. and stuff.

They aren't fooling anyone, of course. Can be crackish or played straight.

Bonus:
+ It can't last, and eventually war happens. Ben and Hux can't hide from it anymore.
++ Ben ends up going darkside because of it (because I can't see Hux defecting). (But if anon wants them to become enemies in the war, that's cool too).

Hux and Millicent are new to the town, Poe is local sexy vet.

You know that scene in "Starship Troopers" where Johnny Rico gets led out half-naked to get ten lashes in front of everyone, and they're all standing around feeling bad for him and witnessing his punishment and everything?

That one prompt where 3 troopers are talking about their superiors, thinking non of them can have sex. In other wards, doubting their sexual activity. Unfortunately Hux, Kylo and Phasma over heard them and decides to show them just how sexual they can be.
