So it's pretty much canon that Hux didn't have the most loving childhood, right? And so it's slowly becoming a large part of fanon that was Hux being raised mostly by droids his parents owned. Sooooo what if this left an impact on Hux and now he feels a kinship with droids? Imagine the possibilities! Old nanny droids still messing about in the Old Family Home! Hux insisting any Resistance/Republic droids be found a place in the First Order! Droid rights advocate Hux making speeches about it not mattering whether or not droids feel the same as humans, they think they can feel, so what is the difference (which can actually lead to some great angst like can you imagine if the only love you ever got was from people who may or may not even feel at all???)!
