This is gorgeous. I love the idea of Rey being Luke's *adopted* daughter (because who is her mother if she's his biological daughter?), I love the reason her family didn't go find her, and most of all I love these wonderful original characters you created. Reading about them and realizing they were going to die at the end of the fic made me so sad--I kept wishing there was some way the story would end differently.
