Can I please have a fic where Poe isn’t like a Jedi or anything, but the reason he’s so good with other people is that he sort of just projects this openness to others, like no shields or anything.
This openness means that Finn and Rey can basically read him like a book, they know he loves them, knows exactly how much. He’s hardly hiding it. But the two of them are pretty innocent and naive, so they think the three of them are in a relationship. Poe does not.
When he’s confronted about something, and realises what they’ve been feeling from him he assumes it’s been mentioned because of some discomfort, he’s been told before that he can be a little too involved and clingy with people, a little too obvious with feelings others don’t share back.
Rey and Finn then have to work to get Poe to realise that no, they actually like him back, and had thought they were all together this whole time.
