Only Kylo does something stupidly mundane, maybe uses his powers for some small purpose, or stuffs a whole donut in his mouth so he won't have to share, or putting his ridiculous hair in a bun while he works or some other tiny, pointless domestic moment, and Hux abruptly realizes he went and caught feelings for this jackass. Somehow. Without even realizing it. He didn't even do it properly, with big sweeping gestures; he just kind of gradually tricked Hux into liking him, the monster. Like a frog that doesn't realize it's being boiled alive.
Basically Hux having an existential crisis about feelings while Ren is eyerolling into the next dimension because for fuck's sake, they've been practically married for like a decade, Hux.
