Finn is sent on a diplomatic mission to x-neutral planet and, due to planetary customs or whatnot, needs a lifepartner. He picks Poe, who is more than up for the mission because he likes Finn and enjoys adventuring. However it soon becomes apparent one of them is more into the idea of dating than the other.

I'd like them to remain friends after the fake/pretend dating. I'm not too picky on who develops feelings and/or why it wouldn't work out (though I'm fine leaving it ambiguous for the future). I'd just like to see them work at keeping their friendship after the mission/in spite of the unrequited feelings. Finn POV is preferred.
