Finn finds out he's the long lost prince of a planet (cliche I know), he also finds out his parents agreed to an arranged marriage for him before he was taken by the First Order. An arranged marriage that can now mean the well being and future of his people. Finn has no other options than to go through with it, even if it means not being with the man he loves, or woman if you want to use Rey or both.
That's it. There is no easy loophole or last minute quick solution that allows Poe(/Rey) to be able to marry Finn and become royalty. Just sadness and heartbreak.
+ The other person can be a canon character or an OC. + No rape or anything like that, I'm fine with dubcon. But I'm also fine with a simple political marriage and no sex.
