Kylux, the Resistance, "redemption"

Ben joins the Resistance. Being Leia Organa's son has its perks: he is allowed to skip real punishment, and retains a measure of supervised freedom so he may aid the fight against Snoke and the First Order. There are suspicions, naturally, but Rey senses his honest intentions against Snoke, and he seems sincere, if not fully contrite. He's still an asshole.

He works with a tireless, singular devotion to the cause, until they finally find and kill his former master. Snoke's death is a major strike, and the Resistance can turn its full attention to the First Order. It doesn't erase what Ben's done before, but it's a strong first step on the road to redemption. Leia, for the first time in long time, begins to feel hopeful for the future.

Ben disappears shortly after... only to reappear Kylo Ren at General Hux's side, putting the finishing touches on their coup. The fleet is rallied under one decisive commander, at last.

Thanks, Resistance! They couldn't have overthrown the old bastard without you.

+ Finn confirming Kylo and Hux's contentious relationship and Kylo talking smack pretty every time he's brought up (and he brings up Hux a lot)
+ Kylo enduring endless variations of "pal", "buddy", "friendo" etc from Poe
+ one tense holocall with the FO which Kylo constantly interrupts to berate Hux (for the cover obvsly)
