Before she met him, Rey never seriously thought of Luke as a real person and now watching him do ordinary every day tasks is more interesting to her than any Jedi trick he tries to teach her. Luke--who'd expected to be used for his Force knowledge falls in love with her, especially her honest reactions to the smallest things.
