The Republic sues for peace with the First Order. Leia is invited to the table. There she sees her son for the first time since Han, and the general(/emperor?), who turns out to be pregnant with her grandchild. Hux is almost ready to pop, and both are smug about it, confident it’s going to be Force sensitive. While the negotiations are proceeding civil unrest on the hosting planet rises to a fever pitch. Eventually Hux gets cornered, and someone performs a C-section, taking the baby and leaving him bleeding out.
(transman Hux preferred but a/b/o is okay)
+ Leia had no idea until after + Hux survives + Kylo Ren’s reaction + The FO is not fucking around anymore + Starkiller was clean and efficient. Planetary bombing is a great deal more... protracted. + FO spinning it for propaganda because of course they would + The Resistance is divided in two camps: find the baby to give it back, or keep it. Leia is also torn on which is right. + Skywalker drama (+++ Hux calling it out as such and Kylo flipping his shit) + The baby was an accident and Hux was mostly thinking of legacy, potential use, etc at the time, but finds himself actually wanting his child back for the sake of having them + is insultingly surprised that Kylo was also intending to be involved
Kylux, Leia, resistance steals the heir
