Finn is lonely and lives by himself and one day on his daily jog through the park he notices an adoption event set up by the local animal shelter and he falls in deep deep literal puppy love at first sight with a flippy-floppy-eared dog and takes him home. He names him Pilot.
When he's taking out the trash later that night, he hears some odd noises and finds a hungry, suspicious, but still adorable cat and loses his heart all over again and takes the poor darling home, after feeding her a lot of food. He names her Sunshine.
Now he's got his hands full with a dog and a cat, but he's still lonely for human connection. Until he comes back from work a two or three months later and discovers a very attractive man and woman who claim to be his pets and fell in love with him while they were animals. What's a guy to do?
