Thank you for the lovely comment! I’m so glad you liked the stormtrooper framing-device. It ended up being the only way I could get this fic to cooperate! I figured the First Order can’t be a good working environment, if that was going on, and that it would create ugly fallout for the ’troopers. I’m also delighted you enjoyed the messed-up cycle of vengeance. It was a lot of fun to write no-holds-barred ugly malice with a UST edge. I’m not entirely sure what would happen if they actually slept together, but I have these images of a tightly wound razor-edged spring of tension just scything out as it releases. Pity anyone who gets caught in that backlash.
