What if the majority of stormtroopers were only rumoured to be kidnapped children, yet were actually the orphans of all the contractors and civilian workers killed in the destruction of the second Death Star? The first Death Star was peopled with clones and jackbooted Empire scum, but the second one was still under construction when it was blown up.

So, what if Finn was unknowingly one of those orphans? He goes looking for whatever family he might have left, only to find out his parents were a pair of blue collar workers killed by his current allies.
