Contrary to expectations, Snoke doesn't reprimand them for the loss of Starkiller. He commands that they both take two standard weeks off-duty. However under the circumstances, they must remain aboard the Finalizer the entire time. Snoke orders that Hux and Kylo are to do nothing but relax, and they are not even to be updated or consulted on current mission statuses. The entire crew is given this order on pain of death.

At first they both go cabin-crazy, but they end up spending their enforced down time around each other and towards the end they spend all day in one or another's quarters, celebrating the lack of interruptions by having a two-person orgy.
