I feel like Finn's attempts to take care of Slip and make sure he didn't fall behind would also mean he tried to teach the guy how to keep up when he wasn't directly covering for him. Something about Finn makes me think that he'd be a great, observant, and really supportive teacher and that he'd be thrilled to be able to help someone by passing on his skills. So gimme Finn teaching people how to shoot better, or self-defense tactics for both field agents and admin staff alike. Let him lead survival training in the woods about how to hunt for himself, find clean water, erect shelter, etc. He's such an incredibly positive guy, I feel like he'd somehow turn all the things the First Order taught him into something that could help others.
