It's bad times for the Resistance. The First Order´s gaining ground, there´s no money and resources´re dangerously low. Allies are backing off, funding´s cut, and things look pretty much hopeless. The situation´s dire.
Enter their saviour! This potential ally is filthy rich, highly unpleasant and super creepy, but he offers to supply the Resistance with medicine and a near endless amount of credits. The only condition: he gets to buy Poe.
The Resistance leaders immediately say no, though some members aren´t overly opposed to the idea.
Poe is afraid and unwilling and deeply hurt, but... can he really allow his personal feelings to come before the good of the Resistance?
So Poe´s deeply conflicted, the pressure to accept grows higher and higher, and with Finn and Rey off training with Luke and the FO closing in, he feels more and more alone. All the while, as the death-tool rises, people grow increasingly hostile toward Poe, they spit on him, friends start turning on him and tell him he´s being unreasonable and selfish until only his squadron and Leia defend him.
Leia is repulsed, but with the FO on their doorstep, she´s running out of options and appalled and ashamed to find herself actually considering the possibility.

- this “ally” has secretly been leaking information to the FO, playing everyone just to force Poe to his bed
- Poe has past experience with sexual assault
