So, one time Jess walked in on Poe at a mutually horrifying time. Poe swears that he wasn't getting himself off to an X-Wing maintenance holo, it was just playing while he was doing other stuff, and then he... got distracted, and dammit, Pava, he was just looking in that direction, it is not the same as watching it.
Ever since, the running joke is that Poe's more into starships, flight manoeuvres, and stellar navigation than even a regular starfighter pilot (which is a lot). Ha very ha.

Except- it's not a joke. X-Wings really do get Poe's motor running. What he'd reeeally like (apart from road-head, because obviously) is incredibly detailed dirty talk, involving ailerons, Tallon Rolls, and references to hyperspace.
