I fully support the OP on this - if only because it could add drama to the fic. "Brendol Hux" being the name of both the father and the son could have had Ben's poor parents thinking his soulmate was some hardass imperial officer whose old enough to be his grandfather - not knowing about Brendol Hux II until some time later.
