Oh, MAN this was perfect!! It tread this line between sex-for-ulterior-motives and holy-shit-I-need-you, and the idea of them ruling together- not of one using the other and planning to take over in full, but of their joint excitement at ruling together, "just as it ought to be", was perfect.
