Everyone thinks that Lord Ren and General Hux are in some sort of stress relieving, probably kinky as hell, sexual relationship - people have seen them leaving each other's quarters in the morning and they always seem to both be in a better mood these days.
What they don't know is that pair of them are actually both asexual (though not aromantic) and what they're actually doing is more like stress relief cuddling. Kylo meditating with Hux's arms wrapped around him from behind, Hux going over reports while stretched out on the sofa with his head on Kylo's lap, the pair of them curling up and literally sleeping together...
They let people believe the sex thing though, because somehow people are less incredulous about that than they are about statements like "I hate him but I sleep better when I can feel his heart beating under me."
Bonus points for them being exactly as stupid about their emotions as they are in sexual versions of this sort of scenario - they're totally in love but they tell themselves they're not. So long as they don't kiss they can kid themselves that this isn't romantic in the least...
