In the Star Wars verse there are a lot of sentient species, and a lot of near-human species... and presumably a lot of people who are human with a little... extra in their lineage. I would love to see any take on how this helps, hurts, or is regarded, from any point of view, Resistance, First Order, Republic or otherwise. Better senses? Worse senses? Instincts that are a little different? Assumptions made by humans or non-humans? Parents that regret or made a very deliberate choice to take a human for a life partner?
It just seems that the humans always seem to be in the middle of politics, from the crazy force users to the clone troopers to the First Order, so being on the edge of that might be a very interesting point of view.
