finn joins the resistance but, after a time, realizes the war just isn't for him. he books passage to the outer rim to get as far away from the conflict as possible, leaving behind a letter for rey and/or poe to explain why he's left and to not come looking him. of course, they respect finn's wishes, and he disappears into the farthest corner of the galaxy.

a little while later (a month, a year? more?) finn comes back into poe and/or rey's orbit in less than happy circumstances. do they pick up where they left off? or are there unresolved issues that need to be ironed out first?
