General Hux is shot down during a firefight with the Resistance, Ren feels it through the Force and by the awesome power of nope, he does the one thing Vader was never able to do and keeps Hux alive.
This poses some issues however; the medical staff cant make heads nor tails of why exactly the general is still living and breathing although his chest could give swiss cheese a run for its money, Hux can now sense when Ren is upset or his focus is occupied with something else (like fighting that up and coming Jedi and her pilot and deserter boyfriends) cause he starts feeling faint/cold/numb/his blaster wounds that never closed start bleeding again.
Mostly I want the entire finalizer collectively holding its breath for either Ren coming up with a plausible reason for keeping his seemingly infuriating equal alive or for Ren to finally tire of the ginger's snark and let him drop so Phasma can get the promotion she deserves. In truth Ren is just 2 gay.
