Kylo is the only one who gets to have private quarters, on the Finalizer or on the Starkiller Base. Hux lives with 30 other officers and has a tiny bunk bed, like everyone else.
So when Kylo Ren tells him "he'll visit him tonight", Hux doesn't know how to explain him they can't really have sex when Mitaka is sleeping on the bunk bed below.
