Hux and Kylo are getting married and Hux, being a firm believer in tradition, insists on having their families meet and get to know each other a week before the wedding. Kylo insists it’s a bad idea but Hux won’t listen once he gets an idea in his head.
The Solo family are pacifists and are very much Anti-War. The Hux family is a military family, very proud and supportive of military action and the need for Wars.

+ Rey brings her boyfriends, Finn and Poe, and the Hux family is very judgmental about it.
+ The only ones that seem to get along are Han and Mrs. Hux but it’s mostly because they’re both trying to keep their spouses in line and under control. They still hate their son’s choice in partner tho.
+ By the end of the week, Hux has almost had it and is seriously reconsidering Kylo’s suggestion that they just get married in Vegas. Rey, Finn, and Poe offer to help this escape if they want to go elope. (up to Anon if they actually go this route Or Kylo can bite the bullet and insist on the wedding because Hux might regret ditching it later)
