For a long time now Ben kept hearing a voice that no one else could, telling him just how weak he was, listing all his flaws and reminding him just how much everyone around him hated him. But it also promised him great power beyond his, or anyone’s, dreams.
And maybe in some other universe, in a galaxy far far away, it could have been the truth, but in this one, there are no magical mystic forces. And no matter how much the mysterious voice tells him to hurt himself or how much pain he is in, Ben Solo can’t seem to do enough to gain the power promised to him.
They hate to admit it, but it takes Leia and Han a long time before they notice (or alternatively, someone else has to tell them)
And then Ben finally gets the much needed help, love and support.

Ships (if any) are completely up to you, but anon mostly ships Ben/Kylo with Hux or Poe.
