*smacks my ass with appreciation* Thinking back, I think I might have channeled some of what Darth Plagius, the EU novel, mentioned regarding Sidious' training (he gets thrown into a snowstorm with a ripped environmental suit), and considering what Yoda does to Luke I figured that if a Master had a desert planet at his disposal...Things would get cranked Up to Eleven. Naturally.
