okay, so the idea here is that there's a lot of polyamory going on that not everyone's happy with. finn and poe are the first established relationship, and they're very happy together, but finn's also in love with rey. poe tells him that it's alright if he pursues a relationship with rey as well, partially because it will make finn happy and partially because he hopes that it will eventually end in happy jedistormpilot.

that doesn't happen. finn and rey get together too, and poe finds himself feeling left out and jealous, and rey finds herself with a huge crush on a recently defected phasma, who she starts a relationship with as well. cue poe who's not happy with finn also dating rey, and finn and phasma who both aren't happy about rey's choice in her other partner. DRAMA AND JEALOUS GALORE
