I asked myself the exact same question, because I couldn't wait to read this fill -- even though it's 1am, and I literally had to stifle all the noises I made so that my neighbors didn't think I was crazy (or having sex *shudders*).
Thank you so much for this wonderful thing, author anon. ♥ I probably died more times than a cat can recover from while reading the first half alone. (I know nothing about Norwegian music, but it was easy to imagine with your descriptions. The Ramones cover band was a thing of beauty. All of the recent history of portable music made me feel damn old and ridiculously happy.)
As a proud late '80s child who works with high school kids and even has lawyer (med school, PhD candidate, working professional, etc.) friends, Hux's complex emotions were all too real to me. (I've heard stories, man. D: Stories I can't even think about without shaking my head and going, "No, bad. Just why, person?") I understood Finn's POV as well, of course (because didn't we all have that older crush/first love/whatever that would've made us defy silly boundaries like age difference? please don't say "no"), and poor Poe's POV to an extent.
Just... Just keep writing at 6am, if such a measure has the chance of yielding this lovely work quality. :D Lastly, because I have to know: did you write any of those Hux/Finn fills from earlier? Or were you converted to the crack rare pair like I was after reading them? XD
