The war against the First Order goes on for years and they both start to grow tired of being separated and never having enough time together. When the war finally ends they get their wish of settling down somewhere, but life after the war brings a different set of highs and lows. Maybe one of them was injured during the last battle or has PTSD, maybe they miss the adrenaline of always being in danger, maybe they don't know how to go about building a home together.

Basically, post-war domesticity with some angst thrown in.
