hmm, interesting thoughts anon... I personally would prefer a very slow burn, showing Hux properly growing up and becoming part of the Resistance. I think 8, 9 or 10 are good ages for this, because a smol 4-6 year old Ben being curious and following around the new kid is a super cute thought!

Plus this needs a decent amount of time before Ben goes off to training, but I'm not sure how old he was when he left...

As for Snap- I agree that he's probably be around Hux's age, and that he'd need peers around his age so he could break the conditioning faster. Maybe all the kids could get off to a rocky start with him because he's still conditioned, but then they forgive him later when they realise that something wasn't right?
