In fic it seems like there's always an unspoken backstory behind Poe and Jess. I really like the fanon of them being close and Jess not being afraid to tease Poe, but I'd like to see something exploring their relationship a little more.

Did they always get along? Did Jess's disregard for Poe's authority endear him to her right off the bat, or did he find her annoying? Did they ever crush on each other? Have they saved each other in the past, and is that what made them so close?
