Finn wants to give Poe a present on their first date, and he buys a stuffed toy animal. Only to overhear people making fun of such presents (too cheesy/not for guys/other reasons), so he leaves the toy behind.
But when they stop at his place after the date, Poe is instantly charmed by the toy and wants to hug it and adopt it.
