Rage. Frustration. Denial. Loathing.

These are the emotions that swirl through Kylo Ren's mind-- plucking at him in fragmented thoughts and half-formed images of fire and snow, in the coppery memory of blood on his lips and tongue.

Of hazel eyes and visions of a deep, unyielding love and loss.
One that he knows he will never feel again.

The shredded parts of his soul that still call to the light weep for the creature that he has become.
And he turns his back on them, content to drown in the darkness and the anguished cries of loss that still ring through his ears.

It is with short, swift movements that he sheds his clothing, long fingers easily finding the buttons and laces and clasps that hold black robes in place. Discarding the shield and face that he presents to the world reveals a lean, pale body littered with scars-- his fingers trace them in the silence of his room, and when he closes his eyes he can almost pretend that those fingers belong to someone else.

But they don't. They never do.

It's not for lack of willing partners, no he could easily find a number of women who would be more than willing to share his bed. But they didn't want him, it was only to be able to boast they they had bedded Kylo Ren, destroyer of worlds.
As though that was something to be proud of.

A shudder wracks his frame as his fingers coil around the base of his shaft, but he can't tell if it's from pleasure or from the pain of the knowledge that the only hand that will ever touch him so intimately is his own.

That doesn't stop him though, it only seems to egg him on in the form of short, swift thrusts as he sinks to the floor, the smooth metal wall cool against his back and the only sound that fills the room is the sound of his panting, loud and ragged.

And then the softest hiccup accompanied by the hollow thump of his head hitting the wall.

Another shudder, and this time there is no question as to it's source-- it's both, pleasure from the steady stroking of his hand, and anguish fueled by the knowledge that this is all he will ever have.

The next hiccup becomes a sob, a feral sound of anger mingled with sorrow as something cold and wet tracks down his cheeks while he sprawls across the floor, naked and vulnerable in a way that he would never let another see.

No moans flow from his lips, no whispered names or pleas. Just miserable, wretched sobs punctuated by shuddering gasps for air as he thrusts into the tight, dry warmth of his own palm.

He doesn't deserve this.

When he comes, it's with the taste of salt on his lips and to the image of intense brown eyes filled with some indescribable mixture of pity and loathing.

I just finished reading 'to the sky without wings' (http://archiveofourown.org/works/5609887/chapters/12925093) and dear god I need more of this pairing.

Seriously, this fic made me go from 'huh, that's an unusual pairing' to 'I will literally go to the pits of hell and back to get my hands on more fic of these two' and I don't think I'll ever recover.

When Ben Organa-Solo was little he used to listen to his mama talk about all the problems in the Republic, in the Senate, in the Galaxy at large and how they could be fixed. Ben thought the galaxy would be a much better place if his mama ran it.

Kylo Ren still thinks this. All he has done has been in pursuit of this goal, and when he has subjugated the galaxy and killed his master, he will give the reigns to his mother and make her the Empress she should have been.

(With him at her side as consort - if you want to go that route)

This is a really good fill and I enjoyed the hell out of it! Especially Kylo and Hux's disaster date in the background and the implications of Rey reluctantly setting up Finn and Kylo, who must have been literally the last person she knew.

100% would read. Hux is probably a smoldering mountaintop of daddy issues.

The Resistance captures a team of Stormtroopers alive. Buoyed by Finn, they hope that maybe the 'troopers are pretty normal people, and that they'll be able to deprogram them, maybe even convince them to join the Resistance.

Your choice of the Stormtroopers are all dyed-in-the-wool True Believers and Finn is a ridiculous outlier, or if they manage to get through to any. Would love for Zeroes and Nines (TR-8R) to be among the captives.

+for the Stormtroopers being deeply uncomfortable with the prospect of managing how much they sleep, when they eat etc and not settling until Finn gives them orders to follow because he knows what the problem is

When Ben is a child, Leia frequently has force-visions giving her glimpses of his possible future. By the time he is a few hours old, she knows he is very likely to fall to the dark side and kill many, many people, and as he grows she continues to have these horrifying visions.

Would love to see:
+ Leia doing everything she can to instill her son with values of humility and self-control and watching as he disregards said values
+ Leia feeling torn between her love for / responsibility towards her son and her duty to the all the people she has dedicated her life to protecting from the dark side
+ Just... ...lots of emotional and moral agony
